The meeting was held in the Guild Hall at the First Congregational Church of Reading (middle side door) at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11th , 2006

We have some photographs of the event in case you could not make it there in person. You can click on any of the images on this page to view a larger version of it. Then, use the Back button on your browser to return to this page.

First off, Harold showed us his pallette.
He uses a small pallette of basically primary colors.

He works from sketches that he does on-site.
Here he shows us the sketch that he will use for the demo.

After making a drawing with charcoal, Harold begins by
blocking in the major shapes and masses of the painting.

Big masses

You can see in this photo that he has added large areas of color.

Most of the large areas are done.

Almost Done

Here the painting is almost done.

The finished painting.
